Pellet press

Pellet presses are used to process the granulated mixed feed into pellets. They consist of a feed screw, conditioner or mixing screw, inlet screw or gravity inlet, pellet chamber and motor base. The feed is delivered to the conditioner by the feeder to mix it with liquids and steam. The material is then discharged to the press rolls and the die. The rotating die produces cylindrical extrusions of pressed material which is cut to small pieces by a knife. The pellets are then discharged to the next processing equipment.
