Extraction screw conveyors

The extraction screw conveyors PSCE are used to extract grain or mealy products from hoppers and silos. Extraction screw conveyors are also used as dosing screws to weighing systems. They are mainly trough shaped. Tube shell is used when the inclination is higher than 15^o. It is constructed up to 3m without intermediate bearings. At inlet the pitch of the screw increases progressively up to standard pitch.

Dosing screws are used to extract raw materials from dosing silos to hopper scales. Dosing screws feed the hopper scale with the batch. Their operation is terminated when the desired amount in kg is reached. The speed is controlled by frequency converter. They have long V-inlet, trough shaped and have a variable pitch in the inlet. Screw flighting is constructed by thicker plates.
