Crumbler

The crumbler is utilized in the pellet lines. It reduces the size of the pellets by crushing between two rotating rolls. The reduction of pellets may be desired when producing small chicken feed while keeping the pellet mill dies unchanged. The crumbler is bolted on the outlet flange of the cooler discharge funnel. It consists of a valve box to bypass the crumbler, the housing with a pair of fluted rollers and an outlet funnel. It can be equipped with a distribution roller when the crumbler is not directly connected to the cooler discharge. The rolls are made from chilled cast iron or high grade chrome steel. Capacities vary from 4-20 t/h depending on the degree of reduction.
