Continuous flow dryer

Continuous flow dryer is used at the intake stage of grain prior to storage. Grain should be cleaned from impurities and dust before entering the dryer. A wet silo is filled with grain at the intake. Then the dryer is fed from the wet silo at a constant rate. When the dryer is filled at a certain level the operation of drying and unloading occurs. Hot air from either oil or gas burner passes through the column of the material at counter direction and exits from the axial fans. A portion of cold air passes through the material before it exits the dryer to cool it down. Unloading takes place at a constant rate and the material is finally stored to silos. The capacity of the dryer is 15 t/h with maize at 20% humidity.
