ERCAD Engineering is a Greek manufacturing company with primary activity the construction of steel equipment and machinery for the steel, food and chemical industry.


Established in 1939 by Alexander Papageorgiou, ERCAD Engineering set off as a small machine shop, which produced and machined steel cast components mainly for the agricultural machinery industry.
Today ERCAD Engineering, having developed the technical knowledge and experience by the years, keeps up with the technological advances and expands non-stop the "know how" on the following:
  • Nut Processing Machinery (almonds, pistachios, chest nuts, walnuts and hazelnuts), such as hullers, dryers, separators, sorters, and sieves.
  • Animal Food Processing Machinery, such as hammer mills, roll mills, mixers, discharge bins, grain dryers.
  • Bulk Handling Systems, such as bucket elevators, screw and chain conveyors, airlocks, diverters.
  • Industrial Steel Buildings.
  • Industrial Steel Constructions.
  • Steel Components Machining.

    The company also provides engineering design and drawing services, utilizing the experienced scientific personnel and the Computer Aided Design, Manufacturing and Engineering tools.

    The company's customers list contains Steel Industries, Chemical Industries, Animal Food Industries and small food producers.


    ERCAD Engineering is situated at the 1st Industrial Area of Volos and the factory premises cover an area of 2000 m² equipped with machines for sheetmetal / solid cutting, forming, welding, machining, measuring, transporting and dying.
